Clinical Practice

When a person becomes my client, I work to create a safe space for honest conversation. I honor the sacredness and uniqueness of a person's story and all of the feelings that accompany it. My style is both collaborative and active - I partner with my clients to discover both untapped strengths and vulnerabilities. I utilize a number of empirically supported psychotherapy approaches to help clients achieve their goals. My way of thinking about people is wholistic: my clients and I take into consideration mind, emotions, spirit, body, and relationships. I am drawn to the depths of human persons but also want to work purposefully at alleviation of suffering and solving problems in the here-and-now. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
