About
Here is a little bit of my background and history. I am a clinical psychologist by profession, a husband, and a father of two adult children. I am a lover of ideas, of music, and of the natural world. I am a person of faith, lover of humanity, and feel perhaps most alive when immersed in new cultures.
My professional journey over the past three decades has included working as clinical director in an intensive behavioral health treatment setting, as a psychologist in my own clinical practice, as a professor educating faith-based psychologists and counselors, as an organizational consultant developing leaders and teams, and as a volunteer on many short-term service projects on four continents focused on grief support, trauma recovery, and family health.
